How do you think Frankfurt School thoughts can be applied to today in our own culture?

Nowadays, the economy and politic have a strong relationship, having social and ideological effects, however, this relation is a process industrialization of mass. Its mean that all turn around of people, and they are the main factor into the context of cultural industrial production. This cultural has a specific function, which is providing ideas of the capitalist societies. In Colombia, mass culture and communications change the way to think of many people. The mass culture is a mediator of political reality, with a variety of economic, cultural and social effects.
Today, the mass culture has allowed society to advance to modernity but at the same time, it limits us in actions and in thoughts. Some people base their thoughts off something that they saw on other social communication network. However, some of them do not look beyond, and tend to agree with what the next person thinks.
Furthermore, people in Colombia become lazy, because they want to look for solutions in an easy way.  Because of this, we become victims to modernity. In addition, the market world tells us what we should buy and when we should buy it. If we never were critical with our thinking, we will never be free since the market world will always remain alive. Because this market to the mass culture responds to variety of economic, cultural and social.
